Junior Achievement |
, Chair |
Goal: Promote involvement and understanding of youth in productive business and professional careers. Plan: We propose to assist the Bluegrass Area Junior Achievement Office in building the newly reestablished JA program in Frankfort by continuing to identify area high schools and business volunteers for participation in the program. We are also proposing to look at ways in which we can provide the necessary funding to the JA program in Franklin County.

Classification Talks |
, Chair |
Goal: To inform Rotarians about individual member vocations and thereby facilitate communications and understanding between members, as well as assist with individual member retention. Plan: To insure that all new Rotarians present a brief summary of their vocations during a regular meeting of the Frankfort Rotary Club.

Speech Contest |
Dan Egbers, Chair |
Goals: Provide local high school students the opportunity to develop their public speaking skills, and in so doing, facilitate their career objectives; and at the same time promote student familiarity with Rotary principles and objectives. Plan: To conduct a local speech contest at a regular club meeting in January 2005. The chair and his assistants will coordinate student participation with local high schools and obtain appropriate assistance from other Rotarians, as needed, to conduct a successful local contest.
